Shooting Without Police Permission? Major Negligence Alleged in Actor Rahul’s Tragic Death

The death of popular actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee has taken a controversial turn following the release of his preliminary autopsy report. Talsari Marine Police have confirmed that the production team had not sought any prior permission for the shoot, nor was the local police station informed, raising serious concerns about safety protocols on set.

According to the initial autopsy findings on Monday, the cause of death was drowning. However, the details are chilling: large quantities of sand and saltwater were found inside Rahul’s lungs, esophagus, and windpipe. His lungs had reportedly swollen to twice their normal size due to the intake of sand and water. Medical experts suggest that such a condition occurs only if a person remains submerged for a significant duration, contradicting initial theories of a brief accident.

The police have seized the camera footage capturing Rahul’s final moments on set. While an unnatural death case has been registered at Digha Police Station, the East Midnapore district police are awaiting the final forensic report for further action. Thousands gathered at Tamluk Hospital to pay their last respects, with floral tributes sent by MP Abhishek Banerjee and the Leader of the Opposition. Rahul’s body is currently being transported to Kolkata for the final rites.
