Sculpting with Teeth! Meet Chen Qin, the Chinese Woman Turning Carrots into Art

Chen Qin, a 25-year-old from Hubei province, Central China, has taken the internet by storm with her extraordinary “dental sculpting” skills. Using nothing but her teeth, Chen meticulously carves intricate sculptures out of ordinary carrots. Her portfolio includes breathtaking replicas of the Great Wall, the Yellow Crane Tower, and traditional Chinese phoenix crowns—all created simply by carefully biting into the vegetable.

A graphic designer by profession, Chen discovered this unique talent in 2025 while absent-mindedly snacking on a carrot. Since then, she has created over 100 carrot sculptures, garnering more than 1.2 million views on social media. While fans jokingly speculate she has a “3D printer hidden in her mouth,” Chen admits the process is physically taxing, often causing jaw pain and even altering the shape of her face. Despite the challenges, she proudly calls herself the world’s first “Teeth Sculptor.”
