Royal Enfield Goes Electric! Flying Flea C6 Launched; Price Starts from ₹1.99 Lakh (BaaS)

Royal Enfield has officially entered the electric mobility space with the global launch of its first-ever electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6. Inspired by the lightweight military bikes of the 1940s, the C6 blends vintage aesthetics with cutting-edge EV technology.
Price and BaaS Model: The Flying Flea C6 is priced at an ex-showroom price of ₹2.79 lakh. To make it more accessible, the company has introduced a ‘Battery-as-a-Service’ (BaaS) option, bringing the effective upfront cost down to ₹1.99 lakh.
Performance and Specifications: Powered by a 15.4kW (20hp) motor and a 3.91kWh battery pack, the bike accelerates from 0 to 60 kmph in just 3.7 seconds. It boasts a top speed of 115 kmph and offers a claimed IDC range of 154 km on a single charge. Using a standard 16A socket, the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in about 65 minutes.
Top-Tier Features: Weighing just 124 kg, the C6 is remarkably agile and perfect for urban commuting. It features a circular TFT touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, traction control, and cornering ABS. Online bookings and test drives commenced on April 10, with deliveries scheduled to begin in May 2026.
