Rafale, Sukhoi & Tejas to Roar Over Pokhran! IAF to Unveil Secrets of ‘Operation Sindoor’ in Vayu Shakti

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is set to demonstrate its formidable fire-power at the ‘Vayu Shakti’ exercise in Pokhran, Rajasthan, on February 27. Vice Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, stated that this edition of the biennial exercise holds special significance following the strategic success of ‘Operation Sindoor’ carried out last year against terror infrastructures in Pakistan.

The Legacy of Operation Sindoor Initiated on May 7 last year, ‘Operation Sindoor’ was India’s retaliation against the Pahalgam terror attack. The IAF decimated 9 terror launchpads across Pakistan and PoK. After suffering heavy losses, Pakistan reportedly sought a ceasefire through Donald Trump’s mediation. Trump frequently takes credit for this, claiming he averted a potential nuclear conflict between the two nations.

A Grand Fleet of 120+ Aircraft The exercise will feature a lethal lineup including Rafale, Su-30 MKI, Tejas, Jaguar, and Mirage-2000 jets. Advanced attack helicopters like the Apache and LCH Prachand will also showcase their combat capabilities. When asked about the strategic signal to Pakistan, Air Marshal Kapoor remarked, “We will perform our display; what message it sends is up to the observer.”
