Peeragarhi Mystery: 3 Dead Inside Car on Delhi Flyover; Mystery ‘Baba’ Under Police Scanner

A chilling discovery of three bodies inside a locked car on the Peeragarhi flyover has sent shockwaves across Delhi. A day after the incident, the Delhi Police have focused their investigation on a mysterious “Baba” (spiritual leader) spotted in CCTV footage near the vehicle. Authorities suspect that this individual might be the missing link in understanding the motive behind these sudden deaths.
The Discovery and Victims: On Sunday around 3:50 PM, the police received a call regarding a car parked on the Peeragarhi flyover for over 50 minutes with unresponsive occupants. Upon arrival, officers found 76-year-old Randhir, 47-year-old Shiv Naresh Singh, and 40-year-old Laxmi Devi dead. While Randhir and Shiv were residents of Baprola, Laxmi was a caregiver from Jahangirpuri. The relationship between the two men and the woman is currently being mapped out by investigators.
Poisoning and Forensic Leads: Initial findings suggest a suicide pact, as no external injuries or signs of a struggle were found on the bodies. However, the presence of a plastic bottle and glasses containing traces of poison points toward a planned ingestion of a toxic beverage. The police have interrogated five people so far, including a local godman who was reportedly seen with the trio a day before the incident. “We are investigating whether the spiritual leader had any role in influencing their decision or if there was foul play involved,” a senior officer stated. The final post-mortem report is awaited to confirm the exact cause of death.
