However, there is a unique temple on Earth where blessings for death are sought. A lamp is lit in the name of the person, and it is believed that within 24 hours, that individual is liberated from this illusory world and attains salvation.

This unique temple is situated on the Ramghat of the Shipra River. It is named the Dharmaraj and Chitragupta Temple, as both deities reside here. This temple is very famous, with hundreds of devotees visiting daily in the evenings. According to Pandit Rakesh Joshi, people often struggle with life and death due to physical ailments. In such cases, devotees travel from far and wide to worship at this temple, seeking liberation from this human existence and attainment of salvation. The remarkable aspect is that the results are seen within 24 hours of worship.

Lighting a Lamp Pleases the Deities

Many devotees have also experienced improved health after worshipping at the temple. Additionally, lighting a ghee lamp pleases the deities Dharmaraj and Chitragupta. There is a tradition of lighting ghee lamps here. Anyone suffering from physical pain who wishes to recover or attain salvation lights a ghee lamp. This removes all their suffering and grants them salvation. Pandit Rakesh Joshi stated that thousands of devotees visit daily.

Ancient Temple

The Tropic of Cancer passes over this temple, giving it special significance. Joshi’s ancestors have been worshipping at the temple for the past 400 years. There is also evidence of worship here dating back to 1702. Pandit Joshi further mentioned that devotees from all over the country come here to seek relief from diseases and various afflictions.
