Major Terror Plot Foiled in Delhi! Notorious LeT Terrorist Shabbir Ahmed Lone Arrested

In a major breakthrough, Indian security forces have foiled a massive terror plot in the national capital. A joint operation by the Delhi Police Special Cell and intelligence agencies led to the arrest of notorious Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist Shabbir Ahmed Lone at the Delhi border. Sources reveal that Shabbir was operating under the direct instructions of Pakistan’s ISI to establish a new LeT module using Bangladesh as a transit point.

Investigations have unearthed startling details. A resident of Srinagar, Shabbir was tasked with expanding this terror network from Delhi to South India. This module was recently linked to anti-India posters surfaced in Delhi and Kolkata, featuring dead terrorist Burhan Wani. Shabbir’s primary responsibility was to brainwash and recruit illegal immigrants into the fold of the terrorist organization.

Shabbir is no stranger to security agencies. In 2007, he was caught with an AK-47 rifle and grenades. He had direct links with 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed and commander Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, for which he served 11 years in Tihar Jail. Since his release in 2018, he had gone rogue again, making Bangladesh his new base for anti-India operations. While Shabbir is in custody, police suspect several of his associates are still hiding in Delhi and a massive manhunt is underway.
