Amidst the ongoing war and threat of nuclear attacks around the world, India has achieved a breakthrough. The country’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has developed an indigenous vaccine for the first time to protect against nuclear radiation. The Delhi-based laboratory of DRDO, the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences, has completed this important work.
