Indian Air Force Recruitment Eligibility and Application Process

If you aspire to work in the Indian Air Force, this is a great opportunity. The Indian Air Force recently released a recruitment notification for Group C civilian posts. A total of 153 civilian positions will be filled through this recruitment drive. The application process began on May 17 and applications can be submitted until June 15. Candidates can also submit their application forms offline.

Among the 153 available posts, 53 are for MTS (Multi Tasking Staff). Other positions include Lower Division Clerk, Cook, Hindi Typist, Carpenter, Painter, Storekeeper, and various other roles. The posts are also reserved for General, OBC, Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, and Economically Weaker Sections.

For LDC and Storekeeper positions, candidates must have passed the 12th standard. Additionally, for positions such as Mechanical Transport Driver, Carpenter, Housekeeping Staff, Cook, and Painter, a 10th standard pass along with an ITI degree in the relevant trade is mandatory. Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years of age. Reserved category candidates will receive age relaxation as per government rules.

Selection Process

Applicants for various posts will be selected through a written examination, document verification, skill test, and other relevant assessments. The examination will be conducted using the pen-and-paper method. The examination schedule will be announced later. Admit cards will be issued to all successful applicants participating in the examination. Candidates can download the form from the Air Force’s official website and mail it to the nearest Air Force station.
