During this time, Hritik’s visits to Pooja’s house increased, and a romantic relationship began between them. Two Lives Lost to Stabbing

On Friday night, around 8 PM, as Deepak was passing through Factorywali Gali, he saw his wife Pooja and Hritik approaching on a bike. Enraged, Deepak stopped the bike and indiscriminately attacked both of them with a knife hidden in his clothes. He stabbed Pooja 11 times and Hritik 3 times. Hearing their screams, nearby residents came out of their homes, but by then Deepak had fled the scene. Hritik died on the spot, while critically injured Pooja was taken to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

Fatehabad SP Siddharth Jain stated that the accused Deepak was arrested within hours of the incident. Deepak has confessed to his crime to the police, but the knife used in the murder has not yet been recovered. The two bodies have been handed over to their families after post-mortem examination. SP Siddharth Jain said that the statements of the victims’ families are being recorded, and further investigation will be conducted based on them.
