Man Attacked by Tiger While Taking Selfie, See the Horrifying Video

An Indian tourist faced severe consequences after attempting to take a selfie at ‘Tiger Kingdom’, a popular tourist attraction in Phuket. He was suddenly attacked while trying to photograph a domesticated tiger. CCTV footage of the incident went viral on social media, sparking outrage and raising new questions about wildlife conservation and tourist safety.
The incident occurred at ‘Tiger Kingdom’ Park in Phuket, Thailand, where tigers are kept as ‘pets’, and tourists are allowed to take photos with them and feed them. A terrifying moment of this unusual human-wildlife interaction was captured on camera and is now rapidly spreading across various social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter).
Siddharth Shukla posted the video on X, captioning it, “An Indian individual was attacked by a tiger in Thailand. This is one of those places where tigers are kept as pets. People take selfies with them, feed them, etc.”
The video shows the Indian individual walking beside the tiger inside the park. He then bends down to try and take a picture with the tiger. At this time, a trainer was attempting to make the tiger sit using a stick. However, the tiger suddenly became agitated and lunged at the tourist. This instantaneous event caused intense panic among onlookers.
The horrific video has already garnered over two million views on X. Siddharth Shukla, who posted the video, stated in the comment section that, fortunately, the individual survived with ‘minor injuries’.
However, this incident has ignited a new debate about safety regulations in wildlife parks and the dangers of human interaction with wild animals. Numerous social media users have strongly criticized keeping wild animals in such environments and allowing close human proximity.

One user wrote, “Such stunts should be avoided. Love wildlife, be kind, but do not expect the same kindness from them. Because they are wild animals.”
Another commented, “Such reckless travel can instantly turn into a deadly trap. An exciting moment can lead to a tragic outcome. A conscious and responsible traveler should be cautious and show respect for wildlife.”
Wildlife experts have long warned about the dangers of excessive human proximity to captive wild animals. According to them, animals kept in abnormal environments can become aggressive at any moment, acting on their innate wild instincts, which can have severe consequences. This incident in Phuket has once again reinforced that warning. It highlights the need for stricter regulations in wildlife management at tourist centers and increased awareness among tourists.
