In a significant step toward bolstering Bihar’s energy infrastructure, a high-level meeting was held to discuss the Intrastate Transmission System Resource Adequacy Plan for 2034-35. Organized under the guidelines of the Central Electricity Authority (CEA), the meeting brought together key stakeholders to address the state’s long-term energy needs. CEA Chairman Ghanshyam Prasad, the chief guest, emphasized the importance of a robust transmission network to meet rising demands.

The meeting saw participation from prominent figures, including ERPC Secretary N.S. Mandal, BSPTCL Managing Director Dr. Nilesh Ramchandra Deore, and teams from the Central Transmission Utility, Eastern Region Load Dispatch Centre, Eastern Region Power Committee, and Bihar State Power Transmission Company Limited (BSPTCL). Their collective expertise underscored the meeting’s focus on creating a sustainable and resilient power ecosystem. “This plan is a cornerstone for Bihar’s energy security,” Dr. Deore said, highlighting BSPTCL’s pivotal role in its execution.
