New Delhi, April 15, 2025: The last date to apply for the second phase of Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme 2025 is today. Youth interested in joining this ambitious initiative of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs can apply before 12 midnight on the official website pminternship.mca.gov.in. A senior ministry official said, “Earlier the deadline of March 31 was extended to April 15, but now the possibility of further extension is less.” Youth are advised not to miss this opportunity.

The scheme, announced in the Union Budget 2024, aims to provide skills and experience to 10 million youth through internships in the next five years. Selected candidates will get a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000 (Rs 4,500 from the Center and Rs 500 from the company) as well as a one-time grant of Rs 6,000 during the 12-month internship. Additionally, insurance coverage will also be provided under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti and Suraksha Bima Yojanas. Under the scheme, youth who have passed class 10th, whose family income is less than Rs 8 lakh and age is between 21-24 years can apply. However, IIT, IIM and Chartered Accountant candidates are not eligible.
