From daily wage laborer to judge: Aniket Kokare’s inspiring journey, 26th rank in first attempt

Hingoli: 28-year-old Aniket Kokare of Kalamnuri village in Maharashtra has set an inspiring example by overcoming difficulties. Coming from a simple farmer family, Aniket got the distinction of becoming a judge by securing 26th rank in the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) Civil Judge Exam 2022 in his first attempt. The results declared on March 29, 2025 made his hard work worthwhile. Aniket said, “My mother’s hard work and the support of friends brought me to this point.” His achievement is an inspiration for those who dream big despite lack of resources.

Aniket’s path was not easy. The family’s income was limited, mother was the only daily wage laborer. To bear the expenses of studies, Aniket worked as a laborer in Waluj MIDC of Aurangabad in the summer. After completing his primary education from Akhada Balapur Zilla Parishad School, he did LLB and LLM from Narayanrao Chavan Law College, Nanded. Moving to Pune in 2021, he started preparing for the exam at Ganesh Shirsat Academy. When he did not have money to buy books for the main exam, friends helped. Aniket said, “I used to study from morning to night. I did not give up.” His story is a living example of hard work and perseverance.
