Mumbai: Reliance Jio has introduced a unique Rs 319 prepaid plan for its customers, which comes with ‘Calendar Month Validity’. The specialty of this plan is that it does not depend on the number of days in the month. Whether the month is 28 days or 31 days, the plan remains valid from the date of recharge till the same date of the next month. For example, if you recharge on April 10, the next recharge will be on May 10. A Jio spokesperson said, “This plan gives postpaid-like convenience to prepaid users, eliminating the worry of validity.” This plan is especially a boon for those who are unable to remember the recharge date due to busyness or forgetfulness. It offers 1.5 GB high-speed 5G data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 free SMS. The plan also includes 90 days of JioHotstar mobile subscription for entertainment and 50GB Jio Cloud for storage. “It is convenient to recharge on the same date every month. The combo of data and Hotstar is perfect for me,” said Neha Sharma, a college student from Mumbai. The plan is not only convenient but also affordable, which shows Jio’s smart strategy.
