Under the Sabka Ghar Housing Scheme 2025 and Shramik Housing Scheme, DDA has given a new opportunity to book cheap flats, which is starting from 12 noon today. The door of cheap houses opened again

The DDA had earlier fixed the last date for both these schemes as 31 March 2025, but in view of the increasing demand among the people, it has now been extended to 30 April 2025. A senior DDA official said, “Our aim is to provide affordable homes to as many people as possible. In the last phase, some flats were left for sale, so we decided to extend the booking date.” This decision will also give an opportunity to those who could not apply earlier.

Booking time and process

According to the circular issued by DDA, booking will start from 12 noon today on 9 April 2025 and will continue till midnight of 30 April. During this period, the flats which were not sold till the last phase can be booked on the basis of ‘first come, first serve’ (FCFS). To apply, interested people have to visit the official website of DDA eservices.dda.org.in. After registration here, booking fee has to be deposited, which is different depending on the category of flat.

What is Sabka Ghar Housing Scheme 2025?

Under this scheme, flats are being made available in areas like Narela, Sirsapur and Loknayakpuram in Delhi. In Narela, 25 percent discount is being given on EWS (economically weaker section), LIG ​​(low income group), MIG (middle income group) and HIG (high income group) category flats. At the same time, LIG ​​flats are present in Sirsapur and Loknayakpuram. The special thing is that a provision of additional 20 percent discount has also been made on MIG flats in Loknayakpuram for the underprivileged sections.

Who can apply?

This scheme has been specially designed for those sections of the society who are economically weak or who need special assistance. DDA said that people eligible to apply in EWS and LIG category are:

Auto rickshaw and cab drivers registered with the Transport Department, who have a valid permit.

Street vendors and women hawkers registered under PM Swanidhi Yojana.

War widows, ex-servicemen and Arjuna or gallantry award winners.

Apart from this, Divyangjan, Scheduled Caste/Tribe (SC/ST) and MIG-HIG category people can also avail 25 percent discount in Narela and Loknayakpuram.

Special scheme for workers

DDA’s Shramik Awas Yojana is for those building and construction workers who are registered with Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (DBOCWWB). Under this scheme also, 25 percent discount is being given on about 700 EWS flats in Narela. Ramlal, a construction worker, expressed happiness and said, “This is a big relief for people like us. Getting a house at such a low price is like a dream.”

Price and facilities

The price of EWS flats in Narela starts from Rs 11.5 lakh, while LIG flats are up to Rs 25 lakh. The price of MIG and HIG flats starts from Rs 85 lakh and Rs 1.4 crore respectively. These flats are equipped with modern facilities and have good connectivity to major areas of Delhi. However, experts say that there is still a need to strengthen the infrastructure in areas like Narela.
