ASI team reaches Sambhal’s Shahi Jama Masjid, will supervise painting work

There has been a debate about the Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, for a long time. A hearing was recently held in the Allahabad High Court regarding painting in the mosque. The court, while giving its verdict on the matter, allowed the painting of the outer walls of the mosque. After the court’s verdict, there was a wave of joy among the people of the Muslim community and they welcomed the court’s decision and expressed happiness, but now the ASI team will reach the Jama Masjid.

The ASI team will reach the Shahi Jama Masjid to supervise the painting work. The team reached the upper part of the mosque’s structure and inspected it. Along with this, the team also measured the painted part of the mosque. People from the Jama Masjid Committee are also present inside the Jama Masjid. Workers have also arrived to paint the mosque. However, only when the ASI team reaches the Shahi Jama Masjid campus, the painting work in the mosque can begin.
