US prepares to impose travel ban on 41 countries, Pakistan and Afghanistan also included in the list

US President Donald Trump is now actively preparing for a new one. He is considering a plan to impose a travel ban on 41 countries. The 41 countries on which his administration has started preparing to impose travel bans include Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran, as well as Syria and several other countries.
According to the news agency Reuters, 3 lists of 41 countries have been made. The first list includes 10 countries, including countries like Afghanistan, Syria, Iran, Cuba and North Korea. Citizens of these countries will not be allowed to travel to the US. All of these countries will be completely banned from travel.
The second group has 5 countries. It includes countries like Haiti, Laos, Myanmar and South Sudan. A partial ban has been proposed for these countries, which will limit tourism, student and some immigrant visas. Although there are some exemptions.

The third group consists of 26 countries. It includes countries like Belarus, Pakistan and Turkmenistan. These countries could face partial visa bans if their governments do not address security deficiencies within 60 days.
The policy is part of an executive order issued by Trump on January 20, which mandated stricter security checks for foreign nationals. The order had directed several cabinet officials to submit a list of countries by March 21 where travel should be fully or partially banned due to inadequate testing and screening procedures.
According to a report in the Indian Express, this step could be taken to strengthen US national security. Although the list is not yet finalized and is subject to change, it would require the support of Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the approval of the administration.
