BJP MLA-Minister Clash in Haryana Assembly Over Jalebi Discussion

A heated argument broke out during the third day of the Haryana Budget Session when the Governor’s address was being discussed. The controversy began over the mention of “Gohana ki Jalebi” (a local sweet) in the election campaign. Cabinet Minister Arvind Sharma commented that the mention of Gohana’s Jalebi was raised during the elections and eventually spread to Maharashtra and then Delhi. BJP MLA Ramkumar Gautam responded by saying that now the Jalebi is no longer pure.
In response, Arvind Sharma sarcastically remarked that he didn’t know which shops the Jalebi had visited, adding that they had even consumed 10 kilograms of cow dung. The exchange turned into a confrontation, highlighting the political tension within the Haryana Assembly. The comments have sparked controversy, drawing attention to the ongoing political dynamics in the state.
