Ukraine launches record 337 drone strikes on Russia overnight, Russian military shoots down all in airstrike

The Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday that air defense systems shot down 337 Ukrainian drones in 10 Russian regions overnight. It is believed to be Ukraine’s largest drone strike on Russia in three years. The attack came as a Ukrainian delegation was due to meet the top U.S. diplomat in Saudi Arabia to try to end the three-year war with Russia. The largest number, 126 drones, were shot down in the Kursk region across the Ukrainian border. Parts of the region are controlled by the Ukrainian military, and 91 drones were shot down in the Moscow region. Drones were also shot down in the regions of Belgorod, Bryansk and Voronezh, which border Ukraine, and in the regions of Kaluga, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Oryol and Ryazan, located deep inside Russia.
