350 Special Trains for Holi, Delhi Makes Special Arrangements
March 11, 2025
In preparation for Holi, the Delhi Railway Division has set up mini control rooms at key stations, including New Delhi, Delhi, Nizamuddin, Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad, and Panipat. Special holding areas have also been created at New Delhi and Anand Vihar stations to manage crowds and ensure safety.
Northern Railways will operate approximately 350 special trains to accommodate the surge in passengers during the festive season. Additionally, several trains will be kept on standby to be deployed immediately if crowd levels rise unexpectedly. These measures aim to provide a smooth and safe travel experience for passengers celebrating Holi, reflecting the railways’ efforts to handle increased demand during major festivals.
