Asian markets fell early on Tuesday (March 11, 2025), mirroring the overnight decline on Wall Street. Markets in Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong all saw significant declines, leading to a cautious start for the Sensex and Nifty 50. The Indian stock market opened weak today (March 11, 2025). Both the Sensex and Nifty slipped into the red amid global uncertainty. The Sensex opened 0.50% lower at 73,743.88, while the Nifty opened 0.48% lower at 22,352.55. IndusInd Bank suffered the worst, falling 15%, the biggest loser of the session. Other losers included Infosys, which fell 2.98%, M&M, which fell 2.25%, and Zomato, which fell 1.96%.
