At the launch ceremony of the Aamir Khan Film Festival, Aamir said about the film Darr that there was a film Darr, which I was doing, but later I did not do it. I felt it was right because the tone that Yash ji (Chopra) was holding, Shah Rukh was perfectly fitting in that tone. I felt that if I had done that, it would have been something different. Salman himself suggested the name Bajrangi Bhaijaan. At the launch ceremony, Aamir Khan said that Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s writer Vijendra Prasad had brought the script to him but he rejected the film. To this, Aamir said that I really liked the script of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. I said that it is a very good script, but I think you should take it to Salman. He did not take me to Salman, he took me to Kabir (director). Later, Kabir finally contacted Salman Khan. Before Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Rajkumar Hirani was going to sign Aamir for the concept of Gandhiji. Aamir Khan also told in the conversation that at one time Rajkumar Hirani was going to make a film with him on Gandhiji. Aamir also liked this concept but later Rajkumar Hirani made the film Lage Raho Munna Bhai on the same concept. Later, he said that Aamir, the script I was writing has changed now and now it has become Munna Bhai 2.
