Why is X going down again and again? Elon Musk said – there was a cyber attack

Washington: Elon Musk-run X (formerly Twitter) suddenly went down on Monday, causing problems for thousands of users in India. Users are unable to access the micro-blogging platform
The issue is affecting many users around the world. Meanwhile, Elon Musk has issued a statement saying that X is facing a large-scale cyber attack. Elon Musk said on Monday that his X social media platform has faced a major cyber attack, due to which millions of users around the world, including India, are unable to access the popular platform. “We are attacked every day, but it was done with a lot of resources and either a large, coordinated group and/or a country involved,” Musk said in a post.
According to DownDetector, which monitors outages and service disruptions in real time, the issues peaked at 3.30 pm. It received about 2,200 reports from Indian users and by 7.30 pm the problem had escalated again. The website received 1,500 reports. According to DownDetector’s data, about 52 percent of the issues were related to the website, while 41 percent were related to the app. The percentage was related to server connections. However, the platform has not yet issued an official statement regarding the outage. It is worth noting that Elon Musk acquired X (formerly Twitter) in 2022 for about $44 billion.
