Lalbazar Cracks Down! Two FIRs Filed Against TMC Following Chaos During Suvendu’s Nomination

The political battlefield of Bhawanipur witnessed unprecedented chaos during Suvendu Adhikari’s nomination filing, leading to immediate legal action by Lalbazar. Based on the Election Commission’s complaint, two FIRs have been registered at Alipore and Kalighat police stations against TMC workers for allegedly defying police orders, using unauthorized microphones, and disrupting a pre-approved BJP rally.

The tension peaked when Amit Shah and Suvendu Adhikari’s convoy entered Harish Chatterjee Street. Facing intense protests from TMC supporters, Shah reportedly switched vehicles mid-way to reach the Survey Building. TMC was quick to label this move as “cowardice” on social media, claiming the Home Minister fled from public anger. Undeterred, Shah addressed a gathering, stating that a single victory in Bhawanipur would trigger an automatic regime change in West Bengal.

Signaling a long-term offensive, Amit Shah announced that he would be staying in Bengal for the next 15 days to oversee the campaign personally. Meanwhile, from a rally in Baishnabnagar, Mamata Banerjee roared back, promising a “Duranto Khela” (a fierce game). With the FIRs and high-stakes rhetoric, the battle for Bengal has reached a point of no return.
