Kanpur Lamborghini Crash: ‘Shivam Mishra Was Driving’, Confirms Police Commissioner Amid Father’s Denial!

The high-profile Lamborghini accident involving Shivam Mishra, son of billionaire tobacco tycoon K.K. Mishra, has turned into a legal battle in Kanpur. Police Commissioner Raghubir Lal officially confirmed today that Shivam was behind the wheel during the crash, contradicting his father’s claims. While Shivam remains absconding, his legal team has moved the court for surrender and bail applications.
The Commissioner’s Verdict & CCTV Evidence Commissioner Raghubir Lal stated, “Our investigation and CCTV footage definitively establish that Shivam Mishra was driving the vehicle. His name has been formally added to the FIR based on solid digital evidence tracked before and after the incident.” When a police team reached his residence, the family claimed he was hospitalized. However, the police have issued a notice to K.K. Mishra to present their side of the story as the evidence points towards a clear hit-and-run scenario.
Eyewitness Accounts: Epilepsy or Negligence? The accident occurred when the Lamborghini lost control and rammed into a bullet rickshaw on the pavement, launching the rider 10 feet into the air. Eyewitnesses at the spot reported a disturbing sight—Shivam Mishra was seen in the driver’s seat with foam coming out of his mouth, suggesting he might have suffered an epileptic fit. Instead of providing medical aid to the victim, Shivam’s private bouncers allegedly harassed the crowd and forcibly cleared a path for his escape.
A Legacy of Luxury and Controversy The Mishra family is no stranger to the spotlight. In March 2024, an Income Tax raid on their properties uncovered a fleet of luxury cars worth over ₹100 crore, including a ₹16 crore Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, and McLaren. Shivam, known for his extravagant lifestyle and celebrity-studded parties, is now at the center of a criminal probe. The police are currently analyzing the recently recovered CCTV footage to strengthen the chargesheet as the city demands justice for the victims.
