Age is Just a Number: Responding to the criticism regarding the significant age gap between him and Wamiqa, Akshay remarked, “It happens in Hollywood too! Over there, actors with large age differences work together and portray relationships all the time. Why is it a big deal here?” He emphasized that what matters most is the performance and the connection between the characters on screen.

Working with Two Generations: Akshay also shared his experience of working with Tabu and Wamiqa Gabbi in the same project. He was full of praise for the younger actress, noting that he had a lot to learn from her dedication. “Wamiqa is very serious about her craft.
