“I am Shiva, You are Parvati…!” Fake Godman Drugged and Ravished Girl Under the Guise of Spirituality

In a shocking incident that has sparked outrage in West Bengal’s Birbhum district, a self-styled godman has been arrested for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting a young woman. The accused, who posed as a spiritual healer, reportedly used obscene religious analogies to trap the victim and later committed the heinous crime when she was in a semiconscious state.

According to the victim’s statement, she had visited the accused seeking a solution to some domestic issues. During the meeting, the fake guru reportedly made an indecent proposal, telling her, “I am Shiva, and you are Parvati… our union is necessary to solve your problems.” When the victim resisted, he allegedly forced her to consume a drink laced with sedatives. Once she lost consciousness, the predator satisfied his lust, the complaint stated.

Upon regaining consciousness and realizing the horror of what had transpired, the woman informed her family, who immediately approached the local police. The authorities acted swiftly and apprehended the accused from his hideout. Preliminary investigations suggest that the “tantrik” had been tricking women using similar methods for a long time. Police have recovered several suspicious drugs and materials from his ashram. The victim has been sent for a medical examination, and the police are ensuring a water-tight case against the accused to deliver justice.
