These small reptiles are experts at camouflage and select the most secluded spots in your home to lay their eggs. Driven by the need for warmth and protection, they often retreat behind tube lights or LED panels, but their nurseries are hidden even deeper.

Lizards prefer dry, quiet, and undisturbed areas for breeding. You are likely to find their tiny, pearl-white eggs behind heavy wardrobes, inside wall cracks, under bookshelves, or tucked away behind wall-mounted photo frames. Unlike bird eggs, lizard eggs are surprisingly tough and resilient. They usually lay two eggs at a time, ensuring they are safe from predators like spiders or other household pests.

The incubation period lasts between 30 to 60 days in warm weather. Once hatched, the hatchlings are a mere 1 centimeter long but possess an incredible instinct for survival, growing rapidly without any parental care.
