In a spine-chilling incident that has sent shockwaves across Punjab, the semi-burnt body of a young woman was discovered inside a red briefcase abandoned along the National Highway near Behman Diwana village. According to police reports, the woman was brutally assaulted and murdered before the killers attempted to incinerate her body to prevent identification. Investigation Underway: DSP Harvinder Singh stated that the identity of the deceased remains unknown. “We are coordinating with police stations across neighboring districts and states to match the victim’s description with missing person reports,” he added.
