Gen Naravane Breaks Silence On Book Row! Shares Penguin’s Statement To Clarify Publication Status

Former Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane has finally addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding his memoir, Four Stars of Destiny. Breaking his silence, General Naravane shared an official statement from his publisher, Penguin Random House India, which clarifies that the book has neither been published nor released for distribution yet.
Publisher’s Stern Warning: Penguin Random House emphasized that any copy of the book—printed or digital—currently circulating online or offline is unauthorized and constitutes a direct violation of copyright laws. The publisher warned that they would pursue legal remedies against individuals or platforms involved in the illegal distribution of the manuscript’s excerpts or PDFs.
Political Showdown: The issue had gained massive traction after LoP Rahul Gandhi raised it in Parliament, suggesting the government was suppressing the book. However, BJP leaders, including MP Sanjay Jaiswal, slammed Gandhi for spreading misinformation, calling him the “most untruthful person” after the publisher’s formal denial of the book’s release. Delhi Police has already registered an FIR regarding the leak of the unpublished content.
