Fuel Supply Glitch in Karnataka? Chaos at Auto LPG Stations Despite Govt Assurances

Bengaluru is currently witnessing a massive struggle at Auto LPG dispensing stations, with long serpentine queues of auto-rickshaws stretching for kilometers. Drivers from across the city are being forced to wait for several hours to refuel their vehicles, severely disrupting their daily livelihoods. Many have complained that even after a grueling wait, they are often turned away due to sudden stock-outs at the stations.

While the Central Government maintains that India has more than adequate reserves of Petrol, Diesel, and LPG, local supply chain bottlenecks in Karnataka are causing significant distress. Auto drivers, who rely on LPG for its cost-effectiveness and eco-friendly nature, state that these delays are drastically reducing their daily earnings. In a city already battling heavy traffic, the additional hours spent at fuel stations are pushing the drivers into financial instability.
