France Shaken by Gruesome Case!79-Year-Old Man Allegedly Abused 89 Minors Over 55 Years; Victims Traced in India Too

In a horrifying development, French authorities have exposed the crimes of 79-year-old Jacques Laveugle, accused of sexually abusing at least 89 minors between 1967 and 2022. The case came to light after a relative found a USB drive containing Laveugle’s 15-volume digital memoir, where he meticulously documented his crimes while working as a teacher and guide across several countries, including India, Switzerland, Morocco, and Algeria.
Apart from the serial abuse, Laveugle confessed to smothering his cancer-stricken mother and murdering his 92-year-old aunt. Prosecutor Étienne Manteaux has taken the unusual step of naming and picturing the accused to encourage unidentified victims to come forward. This digital evidence-led investigation has reignited a massive debate on sexual crimes and institutional safety in France.
