Fatal Shove: Woman Dies After Hitting Wall During Scuffle with Husband in Bally

A domestic dispute took a fatal turn in the Bally area of Howrah when a woman lost her life following a violent physical altercation with her husband. The incident occurred on Sunday morning at Quarter No. 202 in the local Shramik (Worker’s) Colony. Following the tragedy, the police have apprehended the victim’s husband, identified as 37-year-old Javed.

According to police reports, a heated argument broke out between Javed and his wife early in the day. As the confrontation escalated, Javed allegedly pushed his wife with immense force. The impact caused her to fly backward and strike her head violently against the concrete wall. The blow resulted in severe cranial trauma and profuse bleeding, leading to her immediate collapse and subsequent death at the scene.

Neighbors, alerted by the commotion, rushed to the apartment only to find the woman lying in a pool of blood. The Bally Police were immediately informed, who took possession of the body and sent it for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Preliminary investigations suggest that the death was caused by the blunt force trauma to the head. Javed was taken into custody from the spot and is currently being interrogated. The police are investigating whether there were underlying motives or if the act was a result of sudden provocation. The local community remains in shock following this gruesome incident.
