The local leadership of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has come under heavy scrutiny for allegedly backing the event despite the ongoing board exams.

Parents of examinees expressed their frustration, stating that the high-decibel noise made it nearly impossible for students to concentrate on their preparations. While the district administration had issued strict guidelines against sound pollution during exam days, the event reportedly continued for hours. Opposition parties have slammed the ruling TMC, accusing them of being indifferent to students’ futures. In response, local organizers claimed that the volume was kept within permissible limits, though the ground reality suggested otherwise.
