BJP Releases 4th Candidate List! 13 New Names Announced Amid Strategic Changes

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its fourth list of candidates for the upcoming State Assembly elections on Tuesday morning. The Central Election Committee approved names for 13 of the remaining 19 seats. While the announcement featured 14 names in total, one was a crucial revision of a previously declared constituency.

In a significant move to appease local party workers, the saffron camp replaced its candidate for the Moynaguri (SC) seat in Jalpaiguri district. Dalim Roy has been named as the new candidate, replacing the previously announced contender. This decision follows intense feedback from ground-level supporters. With this update, candidates for 13 seats have been finalized, leaving only 6 seats yet to be announced. This tactical reshuffle highlights the BJP’s focus on internal cohesion and local sentiment to strengthen its position against the ruling TMC.
