“BJP is a Sanctuary for Coal Mafias!” Shashi Panja and Partha Bhowmick Launch Fierce Attack

In a stinging press conference held on Wednesday, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) mounted a massive offensive against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the issue of corruption. Senior TMC leaders and ministers Shashi Panja and Partha Bhowmick accused the saffron party of being a “safe haven” for coal mafias and individuals with criminal backgrounds.

Explosive Allegations: Shashi Panja questioned the BJP’s moral standing, asking how individuals under investigation by central agencies like the CBI and ED suddenly become “clean” after joining the BJP. She alleged that a notorious coal mafia has recently been inducted into the BJP, highlighting what she called the “Washing Machine” politics of the party. Partha Bhowmick joined the chorus, stating that while the BJP shouts about transparency, it actively recruits people involved in illegal coal smuggling to bolster its ranks.

Political Fallout: The TMC’s coordinated attack comes at a time when political tensions are at an all-time high in West Bengal. By raising the issue of the coal mafia-BJP nexus, the TMC aims to turn the tables on the BJP’s anti-corruption narrative. The leaders emphasized that the people of Bengal see through this hypocrisy and will give a fitting reply. This latest clash has ensured that the “Coal Mafia” controversy will remain a central theme in the upcoming political battle.
