B.Tech Student Stages Own Kidnapping In Jaipur! Demands ₹90,000 Ransom From His Own Father

In a shocking incident from Rajasthan’s Jaipur, a B.Tech student from Ayodhya orchestrated his own kidnapping to extort ₹90,000 from his father. The elaborate plot, which involved his friends making ransom calls, was uncovered by the Rajasthan police on Tuesday, turning what seemed like a high-profile crime into a desperate stunt for money.

The Incident: The student, enrolled in an engineering college in the Harmara area of Jaipur, went missing on Sunday. His father, residing in Ayodhya, received a call from his son’s phone claiming that he had been abducted. The callers demanded a ransom of ₹90,000 for his safe release. Terrified, the father immediately informed the Ayodhya police, who coordinated with high-ranking IPS officers in Jaipur.

The Police Investigation: Jaipur police swiftly tracked the mobile signal, which led them to the Dausa district. Upon reaching the location, the police were baffled to find the student sitting comfortably with his friends. During interrogation, the student confessed that the entire kidnapping was a hoax designed to extract money from his father to cover his personal expenses.

Case Conclusion: City Police Chief Ashwani Pandey confirmed that the investigation proved the abduction report was entirely fake. The student’s father has since flown to Jaipur to take custody of his son. While the family is relieved that the boy is safe, the incident has highlighted a disturbing trend of students using extreme measures to fulfill financial demands.
