In what is being described as a massive surprise by the saffron camp, senior leader and former state president Dilip Ghosh joined Adhikari for the event. The sight of these two political heavyweights sharing a platform and leading a gargantuan roadshow in Haldia has sent a strong message of unity and strength across West Bengal.

As Suvendu Adhikari marched toward the Sub-Divisional Officer’s office in Haldia, Dilip Ghosh was seen right by his side, waving to the sea of supporters. This joint appearance is highly significant, given the persistent rumors of internal friction within the party ranks. By standing together in the most crucial constituency of this election, the duo has effectively silenced critics and energized the party’s grassroots workers.

Addressing the gathering, Dilip Ghosh was in his signature combative mood. “Nandigram is ready to create history. Suvendu is a son of this soil, while Mamata Banerjee is an outsider here. The people have made up their minds to oust the TMC,” he asserted. Suvendu Adhikari expressed his gratitude for Ghosh’s support, stating that having “Dilip-da” by his side provides “extra oxygen” to the campaign.

The event was further bolstered by the presence of Union Ministers Smriti Irani and Dharmendra Pradhan, making it one of the largest political mobilizations in recent times.
