Electoral Backlash and Political Shift The Union Minister further accused the Mamata Banerjee-led government of prioritizing infiltrators over the rights of legitimate citizens. He asserted that the growing public anger would culminate in a decisive mandate for the BJP, ending what he described as the TMC’s reign of fear in the upcoming assembly elections.
