In a spine-chilling incident in Bihar’s Jehanabad, a 5-year-old boy was brutally raped and murdered inside a private school hostel. The child was found with his throat slit on April 6, and despite being rushed to the hospital, he was declared dead.

Initially, the police detained the hostel operator, Tarun Kumar, but the investigation took a dramatic turn when CCTV footage pointed towards the hostel’s canteen guard, Mukesh Kumar. During intense interrogation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT), Mukesh confessed to the crime. The post-mortem report confirmed that the child was sexually assaulted before being killed.

The motive behind this barbaric act was personal vendetta. Mukesh had a bitter fallout with the hostel operator and wanted to frame him to shut down the hostel. Embittered by his wife leaving him, the accused targeted the innocent child to settle scores. The police have now arrested the guard and are proceeding with strict legal action.
