Bulldozer Justice in Uttarakhand! 543 Illegal Mazars Demolished as Dhami Cracks Down on ‘Land Jihad’

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s government has intensified its “Zero Tolerance” policy against illegal encroachments in Uttarakhand. In a significant move, authorities recently demolished an unauthorized mazar built inside a government school premises in Dehradun, taking the total count of cleared illegal structures to 543.

The administration stated that these structures were built without permission on government land, including schools, hospitals, and forest areas. CM Dhami reiterated that “New Uttarakhand” will not tolerate “Land Jihad,” ensuring that public property is used only for its intended purpose. While some minority organizations and the Waqf Board have expressed concerns over the move, the government maintains that the law is equal for all. Thousands of acres of land have already been reclaimed in this statewide drive, which aims to preserve the sanctity of ‘Devbhoomi’ and ensure educational environments remain free from unauthorized religious structures.
