From Silent Protest to Public War, Jeetu Kamal vs Mousumi Bhattacharya Rocks Tollywood

The aftermath of actor Rahul Arunoday Bandyopadhyay’s untimely demise has sparked a fierce verbal war in Tollywood. What started as a non-political protest march at Technicians’ Studio on April 4th has now turned into a public spat between actors Jeetu Kamal and Mousumi Bhattacharya.

Jeetu Kamal had drawn eyeballs during the protest by placing a garland on his own photograph, claiming it was a symbolic act to highlight how the Artists’ Forum ignores the grievances of living actors. Following this, actress Mousumi Bhattacharya slammed his actions in an interview, claiming that Jeetu had apologized to the Forum for his “unjust” behavior.

Refuting these claims, a furious Jeetu Kamal went live on Facebook to set the record straight. “Stop this filth. Who said I apologized? I will never apologize for a symbolic protest,” Jeetu asserted. He further took a dig at Mousumi, calling her a “fickle-minded opportunist” who badmouths people and then crawls back to them for favors. While the Artists’ Forum has maintained a neutral stance so far, the industry is buzzing with this sudden fallout between the two stars.
