Fresh from filing her nomination for the Bhowanipore Assembly seat, TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee has shifted her focus to the high-stakes battle in Hooghly district. On Wednesday, she reached Arambagh to lead a massive campaign in support of party candidates Mita Bag and Nirmal Majhi. The public meeting is currently underway at the Kalipur Sports Complex.

Following the TMC’s success in the Arambagh Lok Sabha seat, the party is leaving no stone unturned to capture all four assembly segments in the region.
