AAP Sacks Raghav Chadha! Ashok Mittal Appointed as New Deputy Leader in Rajya Sabha

The rift within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has reached a breaking point as the party leadership stripped MP Raghav Chadha of his position as Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha, replacing him with Ashok Mittal. In an unprecedented move, AAP also wrote to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat requesting that no speaking time be allotted to Chadha. Following this, AAP spokesperson Anurag Dhanda launched a blistering attack, accusing Chadha of being “scared” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and hesitating to speak on real national issues.

Dhanda criticized Chadha for focusing on trivial matters like “cheap samosas at airport canteens” instead of raising the issue of party workers’ arrests in Gujarat or signing the motion against the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC). In his defense, Chadha released a video stating, “My voice may be suppressed, but it cannot be stopped.” He questioned whether his advocacy for the common man led to this “strangulation” of his career. As the internal war intensifies, rumors are swirling in political circles that Chadha might soon defect to the BJP.
