“Silenced, But Not Defeated” Defiant Raghav Chadha Reacts After Being Sacked by Party

The internal crisis within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has reached a boiling point as the party removed MP Raghav Chadha from the post of Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha. Following this sudden demotion, Chadha posted a cryptic video on social media with the caption “Silenced but not Defeated.” The party has reportedly even requested the Rajya Sabha Secretariat not to allow Chadha to speak on behalf of AAP in Parliament anymore, prompting Chadha to ask if raising public issues is now considered a crime.

In a sharp counter-attack, AAP’s National Media Chief Anurag Dhanda accused Chadha of being “scared” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The party alleged that instead of tackling critical national issues, Chadha wasted parliamentary time discussing the cost of ‘Samosas’ at airport canteens. AAP also pointed out that Chadha remained seated during PM Modi’s speech while other party members staged a walk-out and refused to sign petitions against the Chief Election Commissioner. This perceived lack of loyalty and shifting stance appear to be the reasons behind his sudden ouster.
