The anticipation for Nitesh Tiwari’s magnum opus ‘Ramayan’ has reached a fever pitch globally. During a recent special screening in Los Angeles, Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Lord Ram, couldn’t stop praising his co-star Sai Pallavi. “The moment we saw her as Sita, Nitesh sir and I knew our casting was flawless,” Ranbir remarked, calling her performance unparalleled.

The film also features South superstar Yash as the formidable Ravana. Ranbir believes Yash’s “aura” is essential for the character, and though his look is partially hidden, his entry on the Pushpaka Vimana paired with top-tier VFX has left fans stunned. Interestingly, the film’s visual effects are being handled by an Oscar-winning studio, ensuring a world-class cinematic experience.

Release Timeline: Shot in IMAX format, this epic will be released in two parts. The first installment is slated for a Diwali 2026 release, followed by the second part in Diwali 2027.
