The ‘Shortcut’ to Change Bengal: Shah Claims Bhowanipore Victory Will Topple TMC Govt

In a high-octane political face-off, Union Home Minister Amit Shah descended upon Bhowanipore today to back BJP candidate Suvendu Adhikari. Leading a massive roadshow from Hazra Crossing, Shah launched a direct offensive against CM Mamata Banerjee, declaring that defeating her in her home turf is the BJP’s primary mission. Recalling the Nandigram debacle for the TMC supremo, Shah asserted, “Mamata lost in Nandigram; now she will lose Bhowanipore as well as the rest of Bengal.”

Slamming the state government over corruption and the lack of employment, Shah stated that under PM Modi’s leadership, people are yearning for an alternative. He confidently predicted a BJP victory on May 5, aiming for at least 170 seats across the state. His message to Bhowanipore voters was strategic: “If you ensure victory in this one seat, the winds of change will sweep across the entire state automatically.” The nomination process turned into a massive show of strength for the saffron camp, with rumors suggesting that PM Narendra Modi might also join the campaign in Bhowanipore soon to further tilt the scales.
