“BJP Will Win with Two-Thirds Majority!” Sukanta Majumdar Claims Clean Sweep in Alipurduar

Union Minister and BJP leader Sukanta Majumdar has made a bold prediction for the 2026 West Bengal Assembly Elections, claiming that the BJP is set to form the government with a two-thirds majority. While leading a massive nomination rally for five candidates in the Alipurduar district, Majumdar asserted that the party would secure a clean sweep by winning all five seats in the region (Kumargram, Kalchini, Alipurduar, Falakata, and Madarihat).

During his address, Majumdar launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, mocking the ruling TMC’s hold on the state. “The people of Bengal have decided to uproot this corrupt regime,” he stated, adding that the state machinery has completely collapsed under Mamata’s leadership. Highlighting North Bengal as a traditional BJP stronghold, he remarked that the overwhelming turnout in Alipurduar today is proof of the “anti-incumbency wave” sweeping the state. As the election fever peaks, Sukanta’s confidence in a “mega mandate” has set a high bar for the saffron party’s campaign in the Dooars region.
