Mega Thursday in Bengal! Amit Shah Joins Suvendu Adhikari’s Nomination; TMC Deploys Rachana in Nandigram

The election heat reaches its peak in West Bengal today with high-profile nominations and strategic rallies. BJP heavyweight Suvendu Adhikari is set to file his nomination for the prestigious Bhawanipur seat today, accompanied by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. This marks a historic first for the Bengal BJP, as a Union Home Minister participates in a candidate’s nomination process.
Amit Shah will lead a massive roadshow starting from Hazra Road to the Gopalnagar Survey Building, covering three key constituencies: Bhawanipur, Rashbehari, and Ballygunge. The march will pass through the heart of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s neighborhood, signaling a direct challenge to the ruling party.
In a counter-move, TMC National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee is heading to Suvendu’s fortress, Contai (Kanthi), for a crucial organizational meeting in Ramnagar to strategize for the upcoming polls. Simultaneously, in Nandigram, TMC candidate Pabitra Kar will file his nomination, accompanied by actor-turned-MP Rachana Banerjee. The TMC aims to leverage the popularity of the ‘Didi No. 1’ star to bolster its booth-level outreach in the high-stakes battle of Nandigram.
